Makati Cat & Dog Hospital is my “go to” place for my furbaby Hero because they have different pet services plus the staff are friendly and accomodating.
As we all know, Shih Tzus are very sensitive and my Hero is one of them. I took Hero here 3 years ago when he got really sick & they saved my baby! Special thanks to Dr. Padilla! Thank you Doc!

One thing I love about Makati Cat & Dog Hospital is their pet boarding. During my vacations, This is where Hero stays. Makati Dog and Cat Hospital was recommended by a colleague at UST. He is an esteemed medical doctor. I told him my cat Miki has been having problems with his breathing. He told me if I want excellent care for my beloved Miki, I have to take him to that hospital.
Their way of diagnosing animal illnesses is likened to humans. No speculations, all with proper tests, procedures, and medication.
I first brought Miki to the hospital because of inflamed lungs and after a few treatments and loving care, he was healed.
After quite some time, I brought another cat of mine, Ming. He was obviously in pain because of UTI. He underwent procedure and got healed as well. Both Miki and Ming are in excellent health now.
On August 22, 2018, I brought my Mimaw to Makati Dog and Cat Hospital because I felt something was not right. After her blood test, ultrasound, and Xray, the good vets found out she had pyometra, a life-threatening illness. On that same day, she underwent surgery (removal of the entire uterus). In addition, she was constipated.
After a few more trips to the vet, some procedures such as enema, intense loving care, sleepless nights, and the excellent skills and expertise of Dr. Santos, Dr. Venzon, Dr. Binogon, and Dr. Padilla all my beloved family members (Miki, Ming, and Mimaw) are of the best of health.
I could not thank you enough, dear doctors, for the dedication, professionalism, and big heart. This hospital is indeed the best! I highly recommend it and their excellent veterinarians.

The wonderful staff at Makati Cat and Dog Hospital have been taking care of Mozart, our nearly 2-year-old Yorkie ever since they first saved his life when he was only around 4 months old.
He’d gotten terribly sick one morning so we rushed to Makati and made it to the hospital just as he started having seizures – their staff immediately attended to him and he got better after their treatment.
He has had all his shots and checkups there and they have a wonderful email and mobile support system for pet parent reminders.
Earlier this year, we had an accident with Mozart and ended up bringing him to the nearest clinic in the area we were in. We were charged 8k, but if we had managed to make it to MCDH then the cost would have been half or less.
Not to mention that other clinic misdiagnosed our dog which resulted in his injury getting worse, not better.
That incident solidified our decision in making Makati Cat and Dog Hospital our go-to facility. We have always felt that we were paying reasonable prices for what our furbaby needed.
Their Cat and Dog Supply Store also now apparently has a delivery service! So we are looking forward to trying that out as well as their home service in the near future.
